As I lie here, unmoving, and exhausted from a long day of treating my body like shit, I close my eyes, and think. Just for a second. Maybe a minute.

Fact of the matter is, I don't know how long it's been. How long it's been since I touched a pen, paper, or my incredibly out of date Tablet. But let's not dwell on the fact that I don't use them. Let's not dwell on anything. Let's just say that I recognize it, and it bothers me.

Maybe I don't have the right programs. Maybe I don't have the skill, or the urge. Maybe I just don't give a damn. But yet, deep down, I can feel it. It's like a tiny voice that's grown into a full-on shout. It yells, it digs, it gets violent. It screams and shouts.

It wants me to create, to get these things out of my head. I'm inclined to listen to it, these last few days, weeks, months...however long it's been since my last creation. The last time.....I got to be myself.

I'm looking at my old Journals, my old works...and I'm confused, unhappy, and frustrated.
So they're going to be dismissed. All but the ones I like. None of them are good, and I refuse to look at them any longer. They're going to be absorbed into my mind as steps on a staircase that leads to greatness.

So, henceforth...I start anew.

So many people in the world think it's acceptable and funny to spell things incorrectly, and not use punctuation.
It's not funny. It's not acceptable. In fact, it makes you look stupid. Absolutely stupid.
These people, when confronted, always have the same excuses. It seems to vary a little bit from person to person, but most settle on one solid excuse:

Okay, it needs to be said.

WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU SPEND MORE TIME ON A STUPID "EMOTICON" THAN YOU WOULD YOUR ENTIRE SENTENCE?

You're either 10 years old, a beginner at typing, completely useless to anyone but the military or a Fast Food restaurant, or you're stupid.

For those of you just joining us from that fabled Turnip Truck that tons of people seem to have fallen off of in the olden days, let's take a brief look at what this "Stupid" word is defined as, shall we?

Starting to make sense now, boys and girls?
I am sickened by these every day happenings. It's a shame how so many brilliant, creative people have taken over the internet, with their message boards, their artwork, their fan clubs, their music sites, their video game reviews, and many, many other reasons....and only fifteen percent of them, give or take a smidgeon or so, can type like intelligent people.

How do these people talk, I wonder? Do they speak the same way they type? In unintelligible, nauseating sentence fragments?

Maybe the problem is that nobody has ten seconds to spare in their "Extremely busy schedules" these days. Maybe pornography and video games have taken up all of their time. Maybe nobody cares about anything anymore. Maybe those of us who can read and write should be put on an island somewhere, since we have become the minority. Maybe. Just...maybe.

I know I'm outnumbered, so I will probably get a ton of flack for this. So be it. I am expressing what I feel....it is who I am, and what I do. Artists express themselves everyday. It is what I am doing now.

For those of you who are like me, speak up. You know it bothers you. Let's fight back the wave of lowered expectations that overcomes us. Our world has no future if this is allowed to continue.

Can you see it now? Advertisements of the future would look something like this, if this is allowed to persist:

nike. to be the faster runer, you gotta hav teh best shoes your neghbor has them. you know you wnat them to.

Disgusting, isn't it?
